Springfield, January 23 2019 – Governor JB Pritzker took executive action joining the U.S. Climate Alliance, becoming the 18th governor to propose to honor elements of the Paris Climate Agreement, which President Trump had the US withdraw from.
The Governor was joined by Jen Walling of the Illinois Environmental Council, a coalition of 80 environmental groups in the state, and Jack Darin of the IL Chapter of the Sierra Club, the governor signed his Executive Order.
