Fmr Aide to Ronald Reagan, Peggy Grande, on Reagan in his Post-Presidency

From the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library – When Ronald Reagan left the presidency, he moved back to California. In 1989, Peggy Grande, just out of college at that time took a chance and wrote to former President Reagan, and was hired as his aide. For years, she spent her time working at his side.

In this address to guests of the Lincoln Presidential Library, Peggy Grande shares some stories on what President Reagan was like to work with, the many meetings with dignitaries they shared, how her children came to know the President and Mrs Reagan, and what Mr Reagan was like as he lived in his post-presidential years. Peggy Grande is the author of a book on her experiences she shared with the ex-president, entitled, “The President Will See You Now”
