State Capitol: Rep Dan Burke (D) and Rep Barb Wheeler (R) had a testy exchange in floor debate on a bill they both agree should pass, but amendments that were supposed to have been added prior to the floor debate were missing. Wheeler tells Burke she can’t accept just his word that the amendments would be added as the bill moved to the Senate. Rep Burke, who is in leadership in the House takes offense at her challenging his word that it would be handled.
