From the State Capitol: We talk with Sen Andy Manar, on the failure to pass the “Grand Bargain” package of bills, and where the legislature goes from here. Sen Manar’s worked several years on trying to remove the vast disparities in per pupil funding among school districts.
He also talks to us about why he feels Gov Rauner was to blame for the Republican senators voting against the “Grand Bargain” bills, even though the Senate Republican Leader, Sen Christine Radogno, urged her members to vote for the package.
