programming by clicking on the television set.

From Southern Illinois University in Carbondale: we talk with SIU President Glenn Poshard about the financial crisis facing the university due to the state of Illinois failing to make any support payments to the university since July.

From the Press Briefing Room at the State Capitol: Andy McKenna, one of seven candidates seeking the Republican nomination for Governor, is endorsed by House Minority Leader Tom Cross.

From Chicago: Contributing Correspondent Jeff Berkowitz interviews State Senator Randy Hultgren, candidate for Illinois’ 14th Congressional District. This traditionally Republican seat is currently held by Democrat Bill Foster and may be one of the most competitive races in next year’s election.

From the Prairie Heart Institute at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield: whether Illinois will have enough resources to continue our current consumption of oil and water is among the points covered in this presentation organized by the Illinois Humanities Council and the Citizens Club of Springfield.
