From the City Club of Chicago – Lori Lightfoot, one of two candidates seeking election as Mayor of Chicago on April 2, shares her values and vision for Chicago. In questions following her formal remarks, she shares her views on a casino, education reforms, gun laws, diversifying the city’s qualified vendors, and whether region needs to revisit having a third airport.
Ms Lightfoot, is opposed in the race by Cook County Board President, Toni Preckwinkle. We will carry President Preckwinkle’s address to the City Club of Chicago, following those remarks, scheduled for March 13.
