Erika Harold (R) Launches Her Fall Campaign for Attorney-General and Says She’ll Fight Corruption as Attorney-General

State Fair – 2018: Erika Harold looks to replace Lisa Madigan as Illinois Attorney-General. She’s a graduate of Harvard Law, who won the Miss America contest, which she entered in the hope she could win the scholarship money to help pay for her legal education — it worked! Now Harold wants to be Illinois’ next Attorney-General, and many political observers say this may be the Republicans’ most competitive race this November.

Here, on Governor’s Day at the State Fair, she delivers her kick-off speech to theFall Campaign, to Republicans looking to take back the AG’s office which Democrats have held since 2003.
