Among some of note:

#10 on the list…Sets standard regulations statewide for Farmers’ Markets.  The Illinois Channel did a story on this, this past summer.  Vendors had to deal with a mish-mash of regulations set by each county, that were difficult to comply with, and added to he inability of some farmers to sell their goods at various farmers’ markets.

#11 on the list… Every August 4th, will be known as “Barack Obama Day”

#13 on the list... Lowers the age of organ donation.  Provides that the age of an individual who has the opportunity to have his or her name included in the First Person Consent organ and tissue donor registry to be 16 or older, rather than 18.

#47 on the list… Names “Corn” as the official state grain of Illinois!  [ we guess the rice lobbyists were caught napping !! ]
