CHICAGO: Before a room of school board members, a panel of lawmakers will discussed significant issues affecting schools in Illinois. State funding, unfunded mandates, the implementation of ESSA, are among issues expected to be discussed.
State Superintendent of Schools, Tony Smith is also participating on the panel.
