State Capitol: We hear from lawmakers, and a Gold Star father on the effort to gather photos of Vietnam veterans, for whom there is no photograph.
These photos will be digitally included in a new center in Washington DC. The photos and service records of a lot of those who served in Vietnam, were lost when the records center in St. Louis caught in 1973.
Those who check into the organization’s website at http://www.vvmf.org/state-photos, can find if their family member’s photos are missing, and can upload a photo of their loved one, so that it may be included in the new memorial being planned.
