From the University of Illinois-Chicago: Attorney General Lisa Madigan is joined by others, who are all behind the passage of legislation SB-1351, referred to as the “Student Loan Bill of Rights” which was passed by the legilature, but vetoed by Gov Rauner.
The Attorney-General others, tell us what the legislation would do, and why they feel it’s important it become law.
An effort to override the Governor’s veto of the bill, is expected to be considered when the legislature returns during the second week of November, the last week of the Fall Veto Session.
