Sangamon Co. Coroner on Heroin Deaths, Responsibilities of a Coroner

From Springfield: Cinda Edwards, the Sangamon Co. Coroner, talks to us about the prevalence of heroin overdoses in Illinois, as the country continues to experience an epidemic of opioid drug use.

We also hear how babies die due to parents falling asleep with the babies in bed with them, and inadvertently, smothering their child.  These unavoidable deaths, apparently tops 500 annually in Illinois.
