From the City Club of Chicago – the leaders in their caucus for education funding reform share the stage to discuss how Illinois can reform its education funding formula to put more money into poorer school districts, without harming districts in wealthier parts of the State.
A principle author of SB-1, the bill passed by the legislature in May, is Sen Andy Manar (D). He is joined by his Republican counterpart, Sen Jason Barickman (R). The senators are joined as well by Rep Will Davis (D) and Rep Bob Pritchard (R).
