From the Studio of WTTW, Chicago – Susana Mendoza (D) and Leslie Munger (R), are interviewed by Phil Ponce, about their positions, and whether each is a surrogate for their party’s leader. The two women are running for Illinois Comptroller in the November election. Leslie Munger currently holds the office, having been appointed to the position by Gov Rauner, following the death of Judy Topinka, who died shortly after her reelection in 2014.
Susana Mendoza is a former State Representative, who now serves as the City Clerk of Chicago.
