Gov Rauner, Transport Sec Blankenhorn, and Capital Development Board Chair Golden, on Coming Govt Shutdown without State Budget

From Springfield: Gov Rauner is joined by Illinois’ Transportation Secretary, and the head of the Capital Development Board, as they warn of dire consequences that will occur if a state budget is not passed before the new fiscal year begins on July 1, 2016.  Gov Rauner pushes for quick passage of two funding bills, that would allow the schools to open in the fall, and fund the state operations through January, so that the politics of passing a State Budget can be tackled after the fall elections.
