Author Tim Pletkovich, talks about his book, “Civil War Fathers” which tells the story of the aging Civil War veterans, who started families when they were in their 70s and 80s, during the 1920s era. And as a result, some of those who fought in the Civil War, had sons who fought in WWII. Amazingly, there are STILL [ as of Feb 2016] FOUR individuals alive, whose father fought in the Civil War in the 1860s.
