Invasion of the Drones!

From the Union League Club of Chicago, the FAA’s Regional Administrator, Barry Cooper, talks about the FAA’s new regulations regarding drones flown by private individuals.

With the growing popularity of drone aircraft, the need to establish rules about where they can be flown, and at what height, is required to avoid interfering with manned aircraft.

But more regulations may be needed to protect citizens’ privacy, and the FAA says those regulations, will have to come from state legislatures or city governments.
