We sit down with Brad Cole, the former mayor of Carbondale, and talk with him about his new position as the Executive Director of the Illinois Municipal League.
Mr. Cole discusses the importance of infrastructure in attracting new businesses to Illinois, the major issues affecting Illinois’ municipalities including pension funding, how his previous experience as mayor of Carbondale and his involvement with SIUC helped prepare him for the position, and what led to him to accept the role as Executive Director.
